Overseas internship
Bonjour! Je suis Yuki KANDA.
From 1/13 to 2/27, I visited Institut de Mecanique des Fluides de Toulouse (IMFT) in Toulouse for international internship program.
It was first time experience for me to live abroad, so I had a lot of hard experience in this internship.
But I had a profitable time in Toulouse because I could see the sights of the Toulouse, eat a lot of cheese, wine,...
No, no! Of course the object of this internship was not only sightseeing.
In the IMFT, my research topic is numerical modeling of methane hydrate dissociation phenomena,
so I tried to study numerical calculation methods with Prof. Michel Quintard.
Prof. Michel Quintard who is my supervisor in IMFT was very kind and enthusiastically advised me on my research.
In this internship, I could learn a lot of things about not only studying but also European culture.
I would like to appreciate Prof. Maruyama, Prof. Komiya and Prof. Quintard for giving me this excellent opportunity.
